For a broad audience, the zeitgeist of today is characterized by an epochal turning point. What is meant is the cultural transition from (natural) scientific enlightenment to (media) virtual clarification. There is helplessness, rage and resignation, a doomsday mood, which motivates artists in opposition to stage a dance of death stirring to life. For example:
